Lions & Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese Medicine Charitable Foundation (CMCF) participated in the ‘95 Years of Public Service Broadcasting in Hong Kong "Sonic + Visual" Carnival’ organised by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) at the Piazza outside Hong Kong Science Museum on 2-3 December. The Clinical Division of the HKBU School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) set up a themed booth "Chinese Medicine and You," offering free body constitution assessments with the Chinese Medicine Four Diagnostic Instrument. By incorporating traditional Chinese medicine and modern technology, information such as tongue and facial images, as well as pulse readings, will be collected to assess and analyse the body constitution and health status of the participants.
In addition, the Clinical Division of SCM specially designed games on how to identify the nine types of Chinese medicine body constitution. Complimentary herbal tea was distributed, promoting the concept of disease prevention in Chinese medicine.
