About Us
Lions & Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese Medicine Charity Foundation is a non-profit-making charitable organization recognised by the HKSAR Government and is exempt from tax under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (IR File No.: 91/8875). It was jointly established by Lions Clubs International District 303 - Hong Kong & Macao, China and Hong Kong Baptist University in 2007. Its mission is to serve the underprivileged elders with quality Chinese medicine and healthcare service at a low cost.
One of the programmes run by the Charity Foundation includes the Privilege Scheme of Chinese Medicine Service for Elderly. The scheme aims to provide support to elders aged 65 or above who are facing financial difficulties and suffering from chronic diseases. Each eligible elder enrolled in this scheme will be provided with medical vouchers, redeemable for services provided by the Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese medicine clinics, covering consultation, treatment, and medication.
