Distribution of anti-epidemic items to elders
To show support and care to the elderly people during the fifth wave of COVID-19, Lions Clubs International District 303 - Hong Kong & Macao, China and two of its Lions Clubs, namely Lions Club of Kowloon City and Lions Club of Hong Kong Mai Po, donated 1,000 rapid antigen test (RAT) kits, 10,000 KN95 masks and 650 boxes of "Lianhua Qingwen Jiaonang", a proprietary Chinese medicine, to Lions and HKBU Chinese Medicine Charity Foundation (CMCF). The anti-epidemic items will be distributed to the elderly patients aged 60 or above visiting the ten Chinese medicine clinics operated by the School of Chinese medicine (SCM) of HKBU.

Distribution of anti-epidemic items to frontline healthcare workers of Po Leung Kuk
To show support and gratitude to frontline healthcare workers, CMCF has donated nearly HK$138,000 to Po Leung Kuk (Elderly Service) to sponsor the procurement of protective equipment which includes protective gowns, caps, face shields, masks and RAT kits, each in a quantity of 3,000 pieces, for their frontline staff at 16 elderly homes and day care centres. The Clinical Division of SCM also joined hands with CMCF by gifting a total of 6,000 sets of the HKBU Chinese Medicine Immunity Enhancement Remedy to Po Leung Kuk and Lions Club of Tuen Mun for their distribution to the elders and people in need to further boost their immunity against viral infection.
